A complete service from design through manufacture and supply to installation and commissioning of fire fighting systems and equipment. Design and consultancy facilities areavailable utilising the most up to date computer technology including Computer Aided Design (CAD) and internationally recognised and accepted hydraulic analysis programmes.
In order to meet the varied requirements for systems, the range of services available

DESIGN & DOCUMENTATION

An important factor in providing a complete service is the supply of relevant documentation,
therefore we offer as part of a package the ability to provide all drawings, data sheets, manuals,
certification required for the particular project.
In-house computer facilities include word processing, spread sheet, project planning and
data base packages, a computer aided design (CAD) system which is compatible with the
most widely used CAD systems enabling electronic transfer of information, and an industry
recognised computer hydraulic calculation package.
INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING

Site supervision of installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection equipment and
systems.
FABRICATION
---------------------
In-house capability to design and manufacture pressure vessels to ASME and BS5500 codes in
carbon steel and stainless steel, atmospheric tanks in carbon steel and stainless steel, carbon steel and stainless steel enclosures, skid frames, pipe spools and manifolds in carbon steel stainless steel and cupro nickel, pipe supports etc. Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) atmospheric tanks can also be provided.
PIPING, TUBING & FITTING

Piping systems provided in a variety of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron,
cupro nickel and plastic. Screwed, flanged, socket welded, socket and spigot and compression
fittings are available. Where required, piping can be galvanised or painted.
PAINTING AND SURFACE PROTECTION
-------------------------------------------------------------
Surface protection of steelwork, fabrications, piping and fittings to suit the particular application
and fire fighting medium used. Hot dip galvanising, epoxy lining and painting provided to protect
against the particular environment and for identification purposes.
ANCILARY EQUIPMENT

Isolation valves, check valves, pressure switches, pressure gauges, strainers, pressure relief
valves, pressure regulating valves, solenoid valves provided. Size, type and materials of
construction to suit the particular application.
FIRE PROTECTION EQUIPMENT

Systems designed and supplied utilising the full range of William Eagles Ltd and associated
company products. Where products are not manufactured within the group, only those which
meet the highest specification and meet the requirements of the relevant project are utilised.

• DELUGE SYSTEMS

DELUGE CONTROL VALVES - Wafer butterfly, clack and elastomeric types
manufactured in a variety of materials. Valves supplied with all ancillary equipment
ie actuation, annunciation and test facilities. Valve assemblies can be partly or wholly
skid mounted to suit transportation and site requirements.
DELUGE NOZZLES - High capacity constant flow nozzles in various sizes manufactured
in stainless steel, gunmetal or exotic materials. Flow rates, pressures and discharge
spray angle can be adjusted to suit site conditions whilst the flow remains constant over
the range of spray angles.
Medium velocity and high velocity deluge nozzles, and special nozzles supplied to suit
the particular system requirements manufactured in a variety of materials.
• SPRINKLER SYSTEMS

SPRINKLER ALARM VALVES - Wafer butterfly, clack and elastomeric types manufactured in a variety of materials. Valves supplied with all ancillary equipment i.e. actuation, annunciation and test facilities. Valve assemblies can be partly or wholly skid mounted to suit transportation and site requirements.
SPRINKLER NOZZLES - Sealed or open sprinklers and special nozzles supplied to suit the particular system requirements manufactured in a variety of materials.

• FOAM SYSTEMS

FOAM DELIVERY EQUIPMENT - Floating roof tank rim seal protection foam generator and discharge devices, semi-subsurface foam injection and top foam pouring devices for fixed roof tanks, medium and high expansion foam generators.
Fixed and oscillating monitors fitted with low expansion foam nozzles. Nozzles supplied
with foam pick-up facility or utilising pre-mix foam supply.
FOAM PROPORTIONING EQUIPMENT - Fixed and portable in-line inductors manufactured in stainless steel, aluminium alloy or gunmetal. Balanced pressure proportioners available for use with foam bladder tanks and pump systems.
FOAM STORAGE - Bladder tanks, atmospheric storage tanks and pressure vessels manufactured in carbon steel and stainless steel, atmospheric tanks manufactured in GRP. Tanks supplied with all ancillary equipment ie valves, gauges etc.
FOAM CONCENTRATES - Protein foam, aqueous film forming foam (AFFF), film forming fluoroprotein foam (FFFP), high expansion foam, alcohol resistant foam and freeze protected foams available.
FIRE FIGHTING ADDITIVES - Water based wetting agents and surfactants can be offered
to be introduced into fixed and portable fire fighting systems. The products are effective on Class A and B fires, are fully biodegradable, non toxic, non corrosive, and have high heat and vapour reduction capability.
FOAM HOSE REELS - Wall mounted hose reels utilising pre-mix foam supply or fitted with inductor and foam concentrate. Floor mounted hose drums utilising pre-mix foam supply or fitted with inductor/proportioner. Units can be supplied with all ancillary equipment ie actuation, annunciation and test facilities and can be partly or wholly cabinet or skid mounted to suit transportation and site requirements.
MOBILE FOAM UNITS - Trolley mounted units c/w foam inductors, nozzles and hoses etc. High capacity units mounted on towable trailers available.
PORTABLE FOAM EQUIPMENT - Hand held low expansion foam nozzles, medium and high expansion foam generators, portable in-line inductors. Portable monitors fitted with low expansion foam nozzles which can be fitted with foam pick-up facility or utilising pre-mix foam supply.
• HYDRANT & HOSEREEL SYSTEMS

WET PIPE PILLAR HYDRANTS & MANIFOLDS - Modular construction giving numerous
valve outlet configurations. Manufactured in steel coated to suit client requirements or in
gunmetal.
DRY BARREL PILLAR HYDRANTS - Up to three valve outlets and pumper inlet with integral main valve and drain in base. Manufactured in ductile iron with steel/bronze fittings. Available for buried depths of up to 2.9 metres.
UNDERGROUND HYDRANTS - Screwdown type manufactured to BS750 in ductile iron.
Normally supplied with ductile iron surface box.
FIRE HYDRANT VALVES - Available with flanged or screwed inlet and hose outlet with
connection to suit. Pressure regulating valves available including dual pressure valves
with changeover from low to high pressure.
HOSEREELS - Industrial fixed and swinging, marine fixed, all with isolation valve.
Pressure regulating valve optional. Hose drum type reels can be supplied for up to 80 metres hose.
• GASEOUS EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS

Design and supply of inert gas and CO2 extinguishing systems. Total flood, local application or modular to suit the particular system requirements. Supplied with all ancillary equipment ie actuation, annunciation and test facilities. Cylinders and
associated equipment can be partly or wholly skid mounted to suit site requirements.
